About Wellesley Car Wash
Wellesley Car Wash is a car wash in Wellesley, Massachusetts. It is listed at Wellesley, MA 02481, which places it among the local businesses of Wellesley that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
In Wellesley, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across Massachusetts, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.
Hours have not been published for this listing yet. Most businesses of this type in Wellesley keep standard business hours, but call ahead to be sure, especially on weekends and holidays. This car wash does a horrible job of actually cleaning your car. See pics. These are right after the wash. It leaves a ton of dirt and residue. It is literally like you haven't done it at all. And this was the most expensive wash I could get. The waxing just cemented in all the dirt. Because it is unattended, there is no recourse or ability to go again. The receipt has no contact info. The only reason it must survive is because the next closest is far away, and this is the only one in wellesley. What a bummer all around. Simply avoid wasting money here.

I'm only giving this three because it's a car wash and it is completely automated. There is no wipe down at the after. I'd say it did a decent job at the $22 level although it is not perfect what I'm saying is it's fair. $22 not perfect and it's over in 5 minutes that's actually pretty good if that's what you're after that is a good point for this business. I will say with the $22 level car Wash comes something that I could not even on the company's website figure out. This product is called cosmic light show since there is no description of what cosmic light show is supposed to be. I got out of my car and looked for whatever it was that was worthy of the name cosmic light show it is not evident at all. Not that I feel ripped off looking at what cosmic light show is took my mind off of the racket that these sorts of car washes make. So if you want to fast clean that works this is a good place but there are places with more elaborate thorough systems and they have service personnel to help with the touch up. I came back to this review and changed it to four stars because this business is actually what it's supposed to be and really nothing more.

It's just an automated car wash, but it got the job done, not bad for what it is. A little pricey. A little slow. Ridiculously convenient.

We came to the gas station to fill up, and noticed they had a car wash as well. First thing I found a bit shady was right after the gas pump asked about adding a car wash, it asked simply "ultimate wash". There was no list of wash options on the screen, only ultimate. By the time I realized we were purchasing a $22 wash, it was too late. For $22 you get, a wash, triple foam, ceramic shine layer, wheel cleaner, extra dying time and... A "light show".. The difference between this and next option down, was a bit less drying time, and the light show. Maybe one other small thing. We sat in the car, wondered how the wheels would be cleaned. Well it was a spray that focused near the wheel area. The light show was literally a strip of LED lights flashing (with no warning to those with light sensitivities) for about a minute. The wash continued on, and then started the drying process. The first stage of drying left the car very wet. When the second stage of drying started, it told us to drive forward (as with most touchless locations), this we went through slowly, but the car was still pretty wet upon pulling out. When we stopped up the road for some ice cream,I noticed that the entire r
